WHAT DOES THE INITIAL EVALUATION LOOK LIKE?

When your pup comes in for the first time, we will spend about 30 minutes getting to know you and your dog. We will determine, based on size and temperament, which room will best suit them. We will spend the rest of the time getting to know them and seeing how they interact with other dogs in the group through slow introductions.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY OF DAY CARE LOOK LIKE?

When your pup arrives for the day, they will spend the day playing with their friends; learning new things; interacting with the enrichment equipment in the rooms; making new friends; and spending time running around outside as well!

ARE THERE CRATES AT BACKYARD BONES?

Backyard Bones will be a cage free facility! We will have a few crates on site in case someone requests some private time for their pup or if we feel a pup could use a short break from play.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A FIGHT BETWEEN MY DOG AND ANOTHER?

At Backyard Bones our staff is fully trained to handle all types of altercations. The dogs would be separated quickly but safely and given time to relax in two different areas away from each other. Once the situation is handled, we will give you a phone call to go over everything that happened.

DOES BACKYARD BONES ACCEPT ALL AGES?

As soon as your pup has received all their vaccinations they are welcome to come play!

DO WE REQUIRE YOUR DOG TO BE SPAYED + NEUTERED?

Yes! At Backyard Bones we do require spay/neutering at 7 months old. If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to call our front desk.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Yes! For all services please book through our website or call ahead of time so we can 100% ensure your pup’s safety!

IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Yes, if you cancel before 24 hours of your booking there will be no fee. Anything within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of your service.

WHAT DOES SWIM LOOK LIKE?

At Backyard Bones your pup can enjoy swimming all year long in our indoor pool! While swimming, your pup will be supervised and in a life vest. You can book your pup for a 30 minute or 1 hour session or, if your pup is here for a day of play, we can pull them from group to enjoy some swim time!

MY DOG DOESN’T LIKE OTHER DOGS, CAN THEY STILL COME AND PLAY?

Yes! At Backyard Bones we will have options for you and your pup for some private play time. Call or email us for more information.

DO YOU DO ANY OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES?

Yes! At Backyard Bones we will be doing fun events throughout each month such as arts + crafts for you and your pup to take home. We will even throw your dog their own private Birthday Party!
